We'll forever miss you "Pop"

Wille Lee Calloway died Sunday, August 8, 2010. He was born March 17, 1933 to Berry and Alice Calloway in Mt. Hope, West Virginia. Wille retired from the USAF after 21 years of service including 2 tours of Vietnam and he also retired from the USPS. He is survived by his wife, Gail, 3 sons, Drew (Seneik) of Dumfries, Virginia, Judd and Lane both of Colorado Springs, his grandson, Drew Jr. and granddaughter, Keira both of Dumfries, Virginia, Wille was pre-deceased by his beloved daughter, Keira. Also surviving him is his sister, Patricia Lewis of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a number of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs and afterwards at the Retired Enlisted Association, 834 Emory Circle, Colorado Springs. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Wille's name to National Alliance of Mental Health, att. Donations coordinator, 1100 Fillmore St., Denver, CO, 80206.

Today is "Tour your Middle School day"

Big changes coming soon. DJ's class is going on a field trip today to take a tour of their Middle school for the next school year. He is very anxious about the upcoming changes his biggest fear is taking showers after P.E in front of others and going from 2 to 7 classes.

DJ has formed a tight bond with all the boys in our loop. He has finally gotten the opportunity to form some meaningful friendships. They do everything all year round such as play basketball, soccer, flag football, at times video games and have sleepovers.

Spring Break 2010

DJ spent Spring Break with all his friends. His good friend Re'Sean stayed with us for the week. The boys had two sleep overs spent the week playing Basketball, skateboarding, soccer, tag etc.. Many fun days out in the sun.
