"Fun in the Sun"

Here we are at the pool, getting some sunshine. The belly continues to grow. I still have not had any real cravings other than Taco Bell. I had some minor back problems last week due to the pregnancy, I immediately contacted my midwife who referred me to see a chiropractor. Turns out I was diagnosed with Pelvic Girdle Pain(PGP), pain at the back of the pelvis. The pain is usually felt when I'm lying on my back, turning over in bed, walking and standing from a sitting position. It is often worse at night. Separating my legs, especially when sitting in a slumped position or lying down has been painful. The Chiropractor adjusted my joints and i have felt great improvements with only slight pain at night now.

Keira seems to be increasing her daily work outs as I constantly feel her doing jumping jacks on my bladder. FatBoy just laughs as he sees me rushing to the bathroom 10 minutes after just returning from there. Night time trips to the bathroom are the worst as I have to roll out of bed feeling pain in my lower back. The belly is also starting to get in the way of simple tasks such as buckling my shoes, shaving my legs; all in all I have treasured every second of the pregnancy with all its ups and downs.
I am starting to get many "How far along are you?", What are you having?, When are you due? type questions from people. Guess I've passed the is she fat or pregnant stage. I have seen no signs of stretch marks as it is one of my many worries. Thank Goodness!

It's a Girl!

"It's a Girl" Congratulations to us! (smiles) We are so thrilled to announce that we are having a lovely baby girl. In Remembrance of FatBoys baby Sister, may she Rest In Peace, we are naming her "Keira" Below are photos of our Gender sonogram which went well. Our baby girl weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. she's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. She is not yet fully developed. She still looks like a alien...sorry baby. She is transparent and skinny.

How have I been: wow i think i have a list.... At night i toss and turn trying to find a comfortable sleeping position. Getting out of bed is harder than ever, I've been getting extremely hot in the middle of the night, super uncomfortable. I find my hand on my belly all the time. I guess its like a natural instinct in a way comforting the baby, not sure she feels my touch. Aggravated with my wardrobe, my jeans don't zip up or button....Uggghhhh. All in all we are both very healthy.

Thank you for visiting our blog and don't forget to check back as we are continuously posting new pics and updates.
